Ha I agree. I preordered mine day after E3 so I'm good for 11-15 but I know it will be a week before I can use psn with any stability. I'm a little worried about registrating my current user name and trophy sync. If the bandwidth is totally throttled and I cant get in will my new trophies from killzone and acbf go into the void Lol?
Sony should make this a release day game for ps4 through PLUS. Can you imagine what the internet would do? All they have to do is give the 50 bucks from people signing up to rockstar and then they know after a year most would renew.

Its happening and very probable that next gen consoles will see it next holiday season . this game is a cash cow. R* are not dummies. They know that for every fan who just bought it they will probably rebuy it on next gen platforms. Especially if they add some new content.
Look, if people want kinect then give it to them. If people do not want kinect then let them buy the system without it. Why is that so hard to understand? Devs can do easy patches for spots of games that require you to stand up or wave your arms: it's called mapping controls to the buttons.
Nope. I would be buying it if it was 100 more than xbox1. Its heavily focused on games with no stupid motion doohickeys. Great 1st and 2nd party devs, too.
If MS would just announce a kinectless system I would buy one of those, too. I just don't trust that they are not going to reverse their decision. I do not trust they will not make devs put some small kinect required component in their game maki g me have to hook it up to proceed.
There has been no press release guarenting that the policy won't change back. The only way to "prove" kinect is not mandatory is to sell a skew without it.
Agreed. If MS announced a kinectless skew for 399.99 I would preorder it tomorrow. I personally don't have any stocks in either company so I'm not attached to them other than the fact that I will spend my money on products that allow for good gaming. Because Rockstar owes Sony a game for funding LA Noir. Agent has all but dissapeared. I could see Sony saying give us gta5 as nextgen exclusive and we're even.

This is one of those ideas that you can't judge until you use it for yourself. That said, I cannot imagine Valve has not done MASSIVE r&d on this thing. valve is not some fly by night, multi-product company. They exist solely for gaming.
I wager thousands of different hands have graced this controller and provided feedback. Sure, not everyone will like it, not everyone likes a smartphone but a heck of a lot of people do.

I agree to a point. Losing Ironside in Splinter Cell was frightening but since the new guy was an unknown and actually sounded like he was into the roll I lived through the experience. Keifer sounds like fricking Jack Bauer reading one liners a la World at War.
It depends on how its utilized. Yes 4 had regen but it was super slooooooooow and you had your stamina bar to deal with. You couldn't just take cover for 5 seconds and have full health you had to find a spot to hide for quite some time.
